Hi I am having an issue with Librecad crashing everytime I exit the program. How can I get help on this please?
Welcome @AntonyVW !
You should add more info to your post. At least your OS and version info from LibrecCAD’s Help/About window.
As I know that similar is also reported on GitHub recently, I suppose you are using one of the latest build versions. These versions are the bleeding edge and may have that kind of issues.
So if you just want to make your drawings, I recommend to use the stable release which is:
2.2.1.5
Otherwise you might need to install a newer latest package regularly, which can possibly solve this issue, but also might add new issues.
Hi yes sorry I was restricted for posting as this is my first post, and I had to wait for moderators to approve my ability to post. So I am using Cachyos Linux, with version 2.2.1.5 of Librecad. My pc is an i71400k with 64 gig ram,
It works fine while using it and I dont have any problems in saving my work. But every time I close librecad I get the following error come up, (sorry for the spacing on the error report, it wont let me change the line spacing):

So this is the stable release and not related with the GitHub issue I mentioned.
The 2.2.1.5 release is mature and this issue was not reported anywhere so far.
You can try to contact the CachyOS maintainers, to check if there are any issues with their version.
When LibreCAD was installed using the CachyOS packet manager, it was built by CachyOS and might have issues we can’t solve.
You can try the Linux AppImage from our download site. This is a ready to use package built on GitHub.
