# Downloading LibreCAD from GitHub is very slow

Downloading LibreCAD from GitHub used to be very fast, but now it’s extremely slow.

Although LibreCAD is a bit larger in size now than before, I don’t think that’s the reason.

I’m not sure if this is a GitHub issue or a LibreCAD issue.

All services are hosted by GitHub.  
We have no access to any valuable information to investigate this.  
It also might be a local issue at your provider’s or country’s backbone.

Recently, downloading LibreCAD seems to have returned to the previous speed—it has become fast again.

I will keep an eye on it.
